This Sheffield made shaving mug is produced by Sheffield craftsmen. It’s pewter and Sheffield still has a pewter industry. Pewter is an alloy mainly of tin combined with small amounts of other metals such as copper and lead to make it more durable. It produces an attractive finish which darkens over time. It is an ideal material for shaving mugs.

Ark Royal Commemorative coin small

Set in timber from HMS Victory we have the 5 Commemorative coins in silver struck to commemorate British naval history. We also have other 5 coins commemorating other British military events and set in appropriate wood for the coin including coins set in wood from the walnut wood from Lee Enfield rifle butts you can see these items each of which is only available in limited quantities due to the scarcity of the wood on

Coming up is the 200th Anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. We have made a lambsfoot knife which utilises old timber cladding from the York Engine sheds with a handmade pocket knife made by one of the last families of cutlers in Sheffield.
